Widex is one of the world's major hearing aid companies, famous for innovating in hearing technology and for producing exceptionally high quality hearing instruments with a uniquely natural, comfortable sound.
This makes Widex instruments particularly comfortable to wear and the choice of many musicians and hearing aid dispensers alike.
Widex: The Innovators
All hearing aid users want to hear the best possible sound. Achieving this is the goal of any hearing aid manufacturer. But what makes Widex different is our broad-based approach to getting the most natural sound possible out of all the hearing aids we develop.
The Widex Sound
We do this by focusing on technology that helps you not just to hear speech or loud sounds - but all the sounds in the real world clearly. Being able to hear speech and conversation is of course essential, but in order to obtain a real-world listening experience, you need hearing aids that can help you hear the full spectrum of sounds.
All Widex hearing aids are designed so that subtle soft sounds are amplified enough to be heard while loud sounds are heard but do not sound uncomfortable.
Widex's emphasis on research and development has ensured a reputation for innovation and as a world leader in digital hearing aid manufacturing.
This dedication to innovation has created a range of the smallest and most powerful hearing aids available, powered by the unique C-ISP (Integrated Signal Processing) silicon chip.
Widex are the digital pioneers and produced the world's first digital CIC hearing aids.

Widex C-ISP is the sound processing strategy that both optimises hearing aids to take account of a user's individual preferences and that allows the hearing aid to operate at peak effectiveness. This means the only thing you need to focus on is the sound around you:

Wireless technology- The WidexLink
WidexLink is used to transmit sound from external devices to your hearing aids when you are watching TV, talking on the mobile phone or listening to music. This is done by way of our assistive listening devices the TV-DEX and the M-DEX (mobile).
WidexLink allows InterEar data transmission and synchronisation between a pair of hearing aids. The technology is also used in our new remote control, the RC-DEX.
Synchronisation
You only need to change the volume or program on one of your hearing aids – the other will automatically change accordingly.
InterEar communication
InterEar enables your hearing aids to communicate with each other 21 times per second. This extremely frequent coordination of important functions results in instantaneous near-natural sound in both ears. This is what we call InterEar.
Widex quality
Widex also ensuring that EVERY single hearing aid is quality tested and checked individually, including by a human ear to ensure best quality and a longer life.
Widex Hearing Aid Styles
Widex have harnessed the power of dual ISP to provide a complete range of hearing aids in a wide variety of formats to suit all budgets and styles:

Zen and tinnitus management
Inspired by the relaxing effect of certain types of music, Widex developed the Zen programs. Zen is a unique music program available in some Widex hearing aids. Based on what is known as fractal technology, Zen plays random, chime-like tones that can be used for relaxation and for making tinnitus less noticeable.
